Be a Creative Change Maker – School Year Theme
Creative change can be simple, beautiful, and yet very complex. We will explore how one person can influence our culture, and our community both here in Vermont, in nature, and beyond. We will also dive deep into how creative change can shape us today and tomorrow. How does the power of change bring us together and compel communities to create, care and grow in resilient ways? What influence does change have on the Pillars of Sustainability? Students will make connections across academic disciplines while learning to be global thinkers and stewards of the earth.
Course Descriptions
Homeschool students naturally weave into our full-time class schedule with our full-time students. We arrange our days so that students experience spiral learning where each classes connects and builds upon one another but can also stand alone. The homeschooler’s can sign up up for Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday and Friday’s. The class descriptions are the same as our Day School.
Weekly Schedule
Tuesday’s and Thursday’s: Projects, Art, Math, and Literacy Sign Up
Monday’s and Wednesday’s: Literacy, Science, Hands on the Land, Math Sign Up
Friday’s: Farm and Forest Day Sign Up
Register for both Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday and/or Friday’s. If you are applying for Monday-Thursday, please use the full time application.
